Raising Kids and their Dreams

Some of us grew up with parents who told us that our dreams couldn’t come true.

Often these parents were transferring their lack of accomplishments on their children.

Brian Tracy, a well-known author and speaker is quoted as saying, “If you raise your children to feel they can accomplish any goal or task they decide upon, you will have succeeded as a parent and you will have given your children the greatest of all blessings”.

If you have kids or nieces/nephews the greatest gift you can give or offer is to instill confidence and teach the children not to be afraid of trying or failing.

I know there are many adults who are afraid of trying new things in life.

They are afraid of failing.

Where and when does this begin?

It starts in your childhood.

You know how you daydream, “Only if I could do it allover again…”

Well, just think where your kids are today.

Teach the kids to “shoot for the stars”.

Have a Great Day!
